as I settle in to 2016, I weigh in (literally and figuratively) and yes I did eat my way through the holiday (worth every pound) and it was literally an amazing end to 2015.
on the first day of 2016, the lake was full of (still tanked from the night before) young adults, "spry" middle age hockey all stars and spectators of all ages strapping on their own dusty skates, skies and slidable objects to enjoy the frozen white sunshine. the ice was thick and the afternoon was ready for memory making.
oh Canada, let the ice capades begin...
