Spread the Love Photography Session | Klutch Photography| Vancouver Family Photographer

As you may or may not have been aware of, I held a contest in February Called Spread the Love and I was really excited to announce Grace Trou and her family as the winners of my A Day in the Life Session!

It was a cloudy morning in late May, when we finally got to capture her people. I should mention to you that her family was totally ready for their session that morning by NOT BEING READY! Her kids were partly in pyjamas, hair messy and breakfast was being served, my perfect walk in moment!  As it should be, right!

It was a wonderful morning, full of laughter, some tears, and many perfectly imperfect moments (including picking up dog poop!). A true day in the life session, unscripted!

Here's a glimpse of the Trou Family just being themselves, on an ordinary Saturday morning.

Worldwide GIN Day | Klutch Photography | Vancouver family photography

Salute, Chin Chin, raise a glass, or or how about a straightforward cheers! No matter which way you do it Happy National Gin Day! I day late, how did I miss this, it's a mystery!

✨Back in the day I was a vodka pusher, no hangovers, easy to mix then about 8 to 10 years ago I was introduced to a G&T.

It was like an Adopted child finding their birth parent, all the pieces in the puzzle just fit together...Gin was my mothers milk! 🍹🥃(it’s actually a clear liquid but there’s no emoji for that-boo!).

😏Something else you should know, Gin is medicinal! I almost feel embarrassed that I’m typing that because it seems a little bit far-fetched but it’s made up of the juniper berry which has very good healing qualities. So basically, no hangover!👊🙌

✨I don’t discriminate, I enjoy many brands, but for me 99.9% of the time my preference is☝🏼Hendricks, with Tanqueray coming in second✌🏼

First off, do you like Gin? Secondly, what’s your fav mixup? So, if you don’t like the best booze ever made, what’s your preference of hard bar?

Grade seven girls can be mean! I remember it like it was yesterday, the Bad skin, hormonal attitudes, and jealous boy crushes. Them bitches wouldn't cut ya off at the knees four pack of Popeyes cigarettes (Remember those)! Not much has changed, but today I was looking at this image I took at sports day last week, and I had thought...

These girls don't all love each other, and they don't all hang out, yet this enormous group of smart young ladies {together} out tugged the grade 7 boys in the tug-of-war challenge!!?

Differences aside, when women help one another they literally can move mountains (or a football sized team of boys). If they/we could realize we're not competing against one another, we're competing together these young ladies could be limitless.
