Super natural | Klutch Photography | Vancouver Family Photographer

everyday for us in the summer, seems to involve water (lakes or oceans that is)! whether it's parksville beach, elk lake, esquimalt lagoon, jericho or crescent... we have the most beautiful beaches in BC, honestly guys, we are blessed to live in this SUPER NATURAL place.  (oh, we do pay though the nose for it BUT fuck it's stunning!)

today...their off to catch a ship at jericho. always backside pictures. they take off the moment they hit the sand. their BC grown water babies for sure.

Portugal vs France | Klutch Photography | Vancouver family photography

while in victoria visiting my parents this week, the final game of the euro cup was going to happen.

can't lie, i havn't watched a stich of it but this final game was my people, my blood inside me people, my hertitage in the final...i would be watching this one for sure!

so the closest thing to being in portugal while in victoria was to be at the portuguese hall.  my hubby was pumped to experience this event at this location (our trip to portugal locked greg in, he's a fan of our crazy culture).

the game was stressful (the palmbays helped), kids were welcome and the FORCA was strong! the only thing the hall was missing was the sales of depends undergarments!

so proud. win or lose. it would not have mattered but it was a sweet wave of pride when the game ended which lasted the entire eveing! (and forever!!)

Oh Canada | klutch Photography | Vancouver family photographer

THROWBACK FRIDAY REPOST FROM 2014....

as the sun goes down on your special day and all the little tattooed faces get washed off , flags tucked away for next year and back yards are cleaned up from epic family gatherings, i sit here and think how lucky we are oh canada the great, to live within your borders and i just wanted to say thanks for a few things... like making me feel safe at night,

being able to speak whatever language i desire and say what ever comes to mind without judgment,

for having some of the cleanest water in the world (out of my tap!),

being loved across the globe because we flash your name around,

for your gorgeous beaches, lakes and mountains, with skylines that we (mostly) take for granted,

being able to afford a doctors visit

and drinking beer at 19,

i will even say thanks for your CRAZY amount (almost, all year long) of rain because without  it we wouldn't value our summers so much!

oh canada, i'm proud to take your name... thank you!

happy birthday.
