as the worst wind and rain storm in 50 years (so they're saying) thunders down upon us, most folks are making the right choice in getting cozy with a hot cup of coco and a good movie!

not us.

we get inappropriately dressed, and hit the ocean for a photo session!  Perhaps it's that I'm pissed off that I had to reschedule a full day of quickie sessions tomorrow because of this beastly wind and rain that got me (and my camera) all fired up to do battle with it this evening or maybe its just to add another layer to the girls onions. probably both! either way, it was memorable.

Blackie Spit was about 50% washed out, it was an incredible site.

Hands up, if a new sport your kid is in is making you shift your life. Example-volleyball club takes up all holiday weekends, yikes! Well, life is not static, we're adjusting and trying to work with it. Is she loving it, yup. Happy Easter y'all!

OMG did it ever pour on Saturday, I mean F'n POURing. So you can image my happiness when the next day was glorious sunshine for my (12 family's) quickie sessions in the morning!

BTW, it poured again at about 3pm that day...thank you universe, thank you!

Play dates can be a pain in the ass OR they can run smoothing ....and when they do (run smoothly that is) it allows myself the opportunity of getting work done that usually gets halted at 2:10 everyday for school pick up. now, some mom's might start drinking wine at this fine hour of play date o'clock, no judgment here. myself it's "get shit done" as fast as I can. then crack the gin when they go to bed (just saying)

And today I got caught up! Thank sweet baby Jesus.
