**don't panic this picture is not of a "body", well it is... just not that kind of body (the morgue kind i mean)** my first born (che') was as they say "a text book baby". she slept well, was always happy and best of all she listened and followed the rules (at least till she hit kindergarten and thought she was all grown up). she was the type of child that the dear lord gives you to make you think that all children you bare will turn out in "this fashion" (close to perfect). total lies....my second child "miss amara eden" (notice the long name is being used) was for a lack of better words "not the same as che'". some might say, "she beats to her own drummer". she is way more stubborn, cries a ton and spoke in full sentences by the age of two (lord, i know this is your way of having fun up there but REALLY?!). for her, rules are for bending, breaking and at times laughing at them!
now that i've briefed you on amara vs che' i'll get on with my story.
so amara FINALLY moved into her big girl bed back in november. in our home big girl beds come with rules (no jumping! save it for the trampoline. no getting out of the bed unless you have to pee and once your in bed it's time to sleep!) seems fair, right? che' followed these rules to a T with little to no problems, but for amara i think i should have included some fine details like:
getting up at 5 am is not "morning time" and because you woke up doesn't entitle you to turn on all lights saying "where's my bubba?".
when you are done "peeing" you don't hang out in the bathroom for a half hour with the lights on, eating tooth paste.
last but not least...toys in your bed that are large, play music or take up your entire sleeping area till you have no more room to sleep but on the floor (while keeping the lights on at 1 am) is also "not a good choice".
see picture below.
***note to self...must REVISE and post rules list***
